the lack of effective infrastructuaral technology in sun-sharan africa is as followed. the main infastructyaral problem is the telephone. the number of telephones per 1,000 people ranges between 12 and 50 depending on the country and many of the telephone lines that do exist are out of order most of the time. This problem stops people from connecting to the internet because as you know you need a telephone line in order to connect to the internet. the other problems are the lack of hardware in africa. with the lack of new hardware the computer become less effective after a while and if they break they cannot fix them. one of the other big problems is the elecrtical power around africa. The power is diffrent all over the continant which means hardware which work work fine in one place wouldnt work in another place. The moxt pressing need for africa is traning. People need training to use the new machines, i isnt good if these new machines are isnt over and the people dont know how to use them so training is identifiedas the most pressing need for Africa in the terms of ict.
