What Leads To Being On The Wrong Side Of The Divide?

Countries like Guinea Biseau, Chad, Mali, Burkino Fasso, and Niger are the least digitally-developed countries because they were all part of France at one point so they werent granted freedom untill around the 1960's. This would effect the countries because they didnt have the freedom to move on and try things without france giving the ok first. They have all be subject to dictatorship, and millitary ruling. Some have broken away from it but others still carry on. This means if the country is under a e.g. dictatorship the people arnt allowed to express their own views or way of life so they have to do what the leader says, and as you know the internet i a good way to speak out so they would get rid of the internet all together. So this means id they resently have come out of say dictatorship they have to start all new. They also all have very little internet users and hosts. Mail only has 28 internet hosts and 100,000 internet users compaired to its 12 million people living in the country. The big main reason these contries are on the wrong side of the divide is that they havent had the training and facilities to learn how to use thses new pieces of hardware and software so this could be the main reason they are on the wrong side of te divide. 

Dicussion Impact Of Games Players

Computer games are so popular because they apply to a wide audience. Before computer games only applyed to boys, but now computer games apply to a wide range of people they apply to girls and familys. Publishers such as Nintendo are reaching out to familys with their new consoles instead of their original fan base. Games like super mario and metroid are aimed more at children and familys than the originals which applyed more to boys than children and familys. Other pubishes such as microsoft are now exspanding into family gaming. The playstaition 3 still stay loyal to the original fan base with games such as silent hill and metal gear solid. I think that computer games dont make you violent at all. They are made to be violent so you are able to shoot someone in a virtual world insead of real life. Take halo 3, you wouldnt go around hitting people with giant hammers in the street you can only do it in the world of halo. The reason they make these games violent because you dont have to kill in real life. I dont think games make you isolated because on game consoles such as the xbox 360 you can speak to other players so when your playing online you always have someone to talk to so i dont think games make you isolated. I dont think that games make you less social because its the same like with the isolated issue on consoles like the xbox 360 you can speak with people and make new friends over xbox live so i dont think that games make you less social

Discussuion Digital Communication Versus Voice Conversation

Communicating with SMS in text language has a very big social downside this is because, for one you dont directly talk to the person which means there is a lack of social confrontation. There is also the lack of good grammer coming out of the SMS's. People abbreviate too much in SMSs and therefore not a person new to SMS can uderstand what they are trying to say. The main reason for we shouldnt text so much and call or see the person because with texting it causes a lack of soscial confrontation.

i think netfrog is a very good site to look at before dissecting a frog, or if you dont want to dissect a frog but you need to know about it. I think its goood because it offers practising service for the dissection of a frog. I think this is good because it shows you how to do the dissection well and it also shows you what is involved so you dont make any mistakes if you do it. You can also use netfrog insead of dissecting a frog. I think this is the main purpose behind the site because it shows you everything you need to know about the dissectin of a frog, it saves you doing it if you feel sick or find its wrong to do, and it saves killing frogs. I think this teaches us the online education is a good thing because the internet can offer a wide bank of knowledge better if you would do the thing yoursef and it also saves money, but the downside to this is you wont have any personal exsperience in the process which would be bad if it was a simulation of e.g. a plane.
