Vistit eBay

Today i visited eBay. The main purposes of eBay is to sell or auction off new or unwanted items to people. This is done 2 ways. The first way is the "buy it now" option. This allows the buyer to pay a fixed amount for the item instead of bidding for it. The second way is the "bid" option. This allows the buyer to place a bid on the item and the highest bid wins. On both of these options there is a time limit where the item is allowed to be veiwed/bought for the siad time limit , after that the item is sold or taken off eBay. Ithink the main target audience for eBay are collectors and importers. I think this because there seems to be more rare items and import items being sold than local items on eBay. I think the benefits of eBay are that you get a quick safe service and you can find almost anything on there but the limitations are that you have to rely on the person to send you the product and the cost of the P&P can be high at times. I think it is a successful shoping model because you can find almost everything thats in the shops on ebay and you can shop from you home without having to go out it comes in handy for late christmas presents.
